About
Welcome
Not everything we experience is something we’ve been taught how to navigate.
Families work hard to support their children, yet many of the skills needed to manage emotions, relationships, and everyday challenges aren’t always explicitly taught.
At the same time, many adults find themselves feeling stuck - trying different approaches without fully getting to the root of what’s going on.
A Place to Bloom was created to help fill that gap.
A Place To Bloom offers sessions and programs designed to help children and adults grow, thrive, and feel more balanced.
For kids, we provide coaching that teaches social-emotional skills, builds confidence, and supports healthy relationships - giving kids tools they can carry through life’s big moments, small moments, and everything in between.
Through Emotion Code, we help individuals of all ages identify and release emotional stress stored in the body. This gentle approach can improve clarity, emotional well-being, and even support physical ailments.
Whether through coaching for children or sessions with Emotion Code, our mission is the same: to create space for growth, connection, and lasting positive change.
About Emily
Emily is a Certified Emotion Code Practitioner, Certified Elementary Educator, and the founder of A Place To Bloom. She is passionate about helping children and adults develop the skills they need to feel balanced, confident, and resilient.
Her own experience with Emotion Code has shaped the way she works - having seen firsthand how releasing trapped emotions can unlock emotional and physical well-being, Emily brings both personal insight and professional expertise to her work.
With over 10 years of hands-on teaching experience, Emily has worked with children, families, as well as clients from age 2 to 70. She partners with each individual to create sessions and programs that meet them where they are, focusing on practical strategies that can be applied every day.
My Approach
Families work incredibly hard to support their children academically, socially, and emotionally. Yet schools primarily focus on academics, often leaving gaps in social-emotional learning. Through her years of classroom experience, Emily recognized that every child benefits from guidance with these critical skills - whether it’s learning to manage big emotions, communicate effectively, or build positive relationships.
At A Place to Bloom, we believe in starting early with purpose and prevention in mind. Our programs give children tools to cope with everyday experiences, practice healthy social interactions, and build a foundation that will support them into adolescence and adulthood. Kids engage in strategies for self-regulation, positive self-talk, and guided practice - all in a safe, supportive, fun environment.
This approach also extends to adults through Emotion Code, helping clients release stored emotional stress to improve clarity, connection, and overall well-being.
Whether through coaching programs for children or Emotion Code sessions for any age, Emily partners with individuals and families to create meaningful, lasting change.
